Philco 37-60/37-61

Philco 37-60/37-61...I have recently picked one of these up in a garage sale for $5...It has the 5Y4G bulb a little off center and close to the lower right corner...It has a metal bulb in the lower right corner thats rusted and all i can make out is THEON...can anyone tell me what kind of bulb this is...Its not glass and I need to know what kind of bulb goes in the tuning window also...I plugged it in and all the glass bulbs came on except the 5Y4G which i have ordered ...If anyone can tell me anything about this radio It would be a big help...Ronnie

Just bought one of these myself at a local antique radio flea market. The only complaint I have is that it works perfect. I usually like to bring them back to live myself. Unlike another one I have in my collection, the faux finish is perfect and just needs an inside and out basic cleaning. The dial will have to be replaced, maybe not. One section of the dial scale is wiped away, but the rest of the scale is still salvagable. Quite a set I must say. Now to find the other one a home. Icon_smile
