I want to thank everyone who helped me on this radio.
   I have changed the caps and taken out the extra one someone else had put in.
 The electrolytic cap that was 8MF was completely dry inside , but the previous worker on the radio just left it
connected.
  Now the radio plays very clear with no hum and the stations  are right where they should be.
 No alignment is necessary.
