I ran a long wire antenna about 70 feet high. Thought i had after 9pm radios only . Only time get anything .
Then had a idea telephone . I only use two wires in my interface box out side . The other two are for extra lines .
So i hooked a wire to them now i have a loooong wire antenna . Works great does not bother with phone any.
Did it on customer access side. Try it .
Now i get stations all day.

Just extra wires running a long way down the line.
