Is anyone aware of the existence of what would amount to an operating manual for the 39-55? I just acquired one, without the Mystery Controller, and I'm curious if the Controller is necessary to operate the unit. I haven't had the time, since acquiring the piece, to even see if it's in working order, but I plan to get started this weekend.
