WW Resistor Wattage # 6452
#1

Does anyone know the wattage for the wire wound resistor # 6452 in the Philco model 71 ? It is a dual resistor with values of 180 and 245 ohms I believe. I think the 245 ohm section is open on mine.
                                          Thanks,

Update,
I found a 250 ohm 5 watt ceramic  resistor , attached it with clip leads and the radio powered up so now I will just see if the resistor gets too hot. It is the beginning of a divider network and I suspect 5 w. will be fine. It's funny though that Philco did not disclose the wattage sizes for their  porcelain wire wound resistors.
                                                               Thanks

Update ,
I ended up purchasing a 12 watt Ohmite resistor. The good thing is that the mounting screw fits the resistor opening like it was made for it so I'm sure some of the heat generated gets sunk to the chassis. But at 12 w it runs plenty cool. I also added a 2w for the 180 ohms.
