It has no identifying marks on it anywhere. A few of the tubes say philco. But I dont recognize it.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it is not an Echophone, then it is a Peerless.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Heres a shot of the Chassis....

Im begining to think someone used a Peerless reproducer cabinet to house another RF deck of unknown origin.

It clearly seems its a Peerless cabinet.....

I think it is an Echophone or similar chassis in the Peerless speaker cabinet.

Would a Peerless speaker be deep enough to house a chassis? It's not an Echophone cabinet because there is no lyre (sp?) On the grill.

The chassis almost looks like an Aztec by Fred Stein, but it isn't painted black and doesn't have the brass sn tag.

Heres a shot under the chassis.

It is an odd case isnt it??

The Grill and the shape of the cabinet are 100% Peerless speaker.
Whether they deepened it to house the chassis....good question.

It is a Franken Radio for sure.

What are the tubes currently in the chassis? Interesting that the one tube socket on the far right is installed with screws while the other 4 are riveted. Stuffs been done to this radio. Take care and BE HEALTHY! Gary

I took that tube list to Antiqueradios.com and got 8 hits for a 5 tube radio, none that look like a match. Looks like you have a chore to Name That Radio!

Thanks to all who helped.

Really appreciate it.
