Philco signal generator model 088. Or not??
#1

I bought the signal generator in the post below but can't identify it. The schematic for a model 088 pretty much matches the circuitry in this one, including the single tube, a 1C6. But this one has a DC power supply built in, while the model 088 needed 2 batteries, a 45 V and a 22.5V. Plus a couple 1.5V batteries, which this one does require. Anyone know what I have here? The closest match in the Philco library is the model 088, link below.
Maybe someone did a remarkably good job of adding the power supply??, because it looks to be factory made.
Thanks

It could be that the factory switched to an AC power supply after WWII, but that 1944 test equipment manual (which I supplied to the Phorums) is the latest which I have.
