Hello, My 91 has been done for a while now and I have just recently realized I may have shortwave on this radio. The on/off switch has three positions. One position being off and the other two tune the AM band although the middle position tunes AM but not as good as the third position. Is there a fool proof way to know if my radio has SW. The dial is not marked for SW and I believe it is the factory dial.

91 codes 126-226 did have a band switch coupled with the power switch.
What frequency I do not know.

Riders 3-29 states that the Model 91 receives broadcast, police, and aircraft. Joe

Joe,
Yes, 126/226 codes did that. Two band (Police-Aircraft combined and BC).
The other codes only hand one band, the BC.
The 3-29 only describes 126-226 chassis.
