Grille Cloth for 36-650
#1

Am I correct that the right grille cloth for this radio is "Pattern 5" from http://www.grillecloth.com/ ? The other possibility is "Pattern 41".

There is no such thing as a model 36-650; the correct model number is 650.

Pattern #3 is the correct pattern for all 650 versions except the 650H. Icon_smile

Ron is correct. Philco did not use the model year's last two digits as a prefix in their model numbering scheme until the 1937 model year.
37-xxx, 38-xxx, etc.

Sorry. I do actually know that. I just have problems remembering which year they started using the prefix.

Thanks! I can now order grille cloth.
