Advice needed on value of 40-165 radio
#1

I have a Philco 40-165 radio that I got at a garage sale 20+ years ago. We are going to be downsizing and I have no idea what this radio is worth. It does play but has some vaneer damage (slight). Is there some sort of guide book? I've attached some pictures - maybe that will help. Thanks for any help you can give!

Note from site admin: Sorry, but the photos which were attached to this post are no longer available.

You have a model 40-165K console ..~25,000 made..not too difficult to find and probably not very valuable except to a collector looking for this particular model. Your radio does appear to be in excellent condition however. Maybe $50-$75? There was also a model 40-165F produced with about 5,000 sold but still not real difficult to find and not real valuable unless it was a family heirloom. A nearby collector may wish to have it however.
Click on the large blue PHILCO above and go to the Knowledge Gallery to view the radios.
