This question comes up from time to time.

The original "dynamic" (magnetic) cartridge has not been manufactured in several decades. To complicate matters, the originals were often damaged by owners who stuck steel needles into the cartridge, in spite of being warned in Philco literature of the period not to do so, destroying the cartridge.

Steel needles have a slightly larger diameter than the proper stylus for this cartridge,,,just large enough to damage it beyond repair.

And, once damaged, the cartridge cannot be fixed.

An alternative is to use a modern magnetic cartridge, connected to run in mono instead of stereo, with a 78 rpm stylus. Tracking weights may be an issue, but this can be overcome.
