42-340 filament circuit problem
#1

Hey all,
I am working on a Philco 42-340 and everything was working great. Today I plugged it in and nothing happend. The transformer hummed, but the dial lights didn't light up. Also the 7Y4 tube was the only tube that has a lighted filament. I tested all of the tubes and they are good. If 7Y4 lights up then that tells me that the transformer is good. There isn't a broken circuit going to each of the filaments on the other tubes. I am at a loss. Any ideas?

Got it. It was a ground issue. Radio sounds great.
