Wow lucky you I have been looking to purchase a RCA 10 tuber for such a long time. Sorry I can not help you out on your tuning belt question. Some one will answer your question...Come on guys give a reply. Good luck on the radio its a really good set!

I kinda remember, from 30 years ago, that you have to pull the pointers and remove the dial scale.
Then again, I can't remember what I had for lunch...
