I have replaced caps resistors and diode. Load 10k resistor was bad. Line adjust does  not work like it should. I can get correct filaments. When i adjust line its very erratic til the of the adjust.  Then l can get the the line  to the line with the 20k inside

I have checked the var line adj resistor out. It ohms good. At the lower end just before at 40 ohms i can then adjust the line with the cal 20 inside to read the line and the filaments to be correct.  It is jumpy not smooth at all.  To replace the selenium I used a 1n4005.
