Part I.D.
#1

Hello, pros. I am working on a Philco 41 231 and have the schematic from Chuck Schwark.  I'm sorry but I can't post photos but if anyone has the time to look it up, the schematic has something I can't identify.  On the a/c line from the 35Z5 tube the line goes to what appears to be an adjustable resistor and then to a 60 ohm wirewound resistor. What- and where- is this adjustable resistor? All help appreciated. Doc

Hi Doc,  take a look here.  http://www.nostalgiaair.org/pagesbymodel...013399.pdf  Is it item number 49 ? If so, it is the dial lamp.

Doc, I think you are referring to the item in the schematic shown with the red arrow?  If so that is the tap on the 35Z5G's heater filament, ie. pins 2, 3 and 7 on the tube diagram.

Icon_thumbup Great, good luck with the restoration.
Its not hard to post pics, Ron has an explanation of how to do it in the How To Do Things On the Phorum section.
