All, I did find that the Screen Resistor on the 6K7 was supposed to be 82 K was reading 120 K.. I replaced it and now the Eye tube is much better. Seems to be responding better. On my strongest station now its almost completely closed.

Ok its not in really bad shape. Would really not like to totally refinish it. Is there products that I can use to cover scratches Etc I plan on using Go-Jo first to clean it. Then What??

There are products like Howard's Restora-A-Finish that do some covering of scratches and smoothing of the lacquer finish but they are not miracle workers. It will look a little better for a little while. After a year or so it may need another treatment and it won't add lacquer where there is missing finish. It won't hurt to try it to see if it gives the look you want. There are a variety of colors including oak, neutral, maple, dark oak, walnut, dark walnut and mahogany to use depending on the existing finish.

Ok I tried Howard's Restora-A-Finish.. It worked pretty good. Much better than it was..

I do not know what to do with the dark edging around the top..

Still have to get paint off one side.. But doesn't look to bad for a 77 Year old radio..
