Zenith dial mount
#1

I'm re-assembly chassis on my Zenith 5S127 and as luck would have it I've lost the three small tube that make up the distance between the the gang capacitor and the dial face plate.
Would anyone outhere be kind enough to measure them so I can re-build them.

Regards,
Daniel

Daniel, one radio measured 1 1/2" with a ruler. The other has the dial off and I measured 1.491" long with a dial caliper. BTW, both of my 5-S-150 chassis only have 2 of these spacers, not 3.

Thank you so much Dave.
I built them to 1.491. I used aluminum tube that I had, cut them rough dimension. In the chuck of my battery drill and using my Dremel in the front, I was able to machine them exactly at them same dimension. Trying to make all three identical, I restarted a couple of times. In the end I ended up with 1.495, all three within .001 of each other.
Thanks again Dave for the dimension.
Daniel
