I am working on a 48-230 "Wedge." I have recapped it and checked the tubes, but am getting very weak reception -- virtually inaudible during the day, and only low volume at night, when I do get DX reception from Buffalo, Canada, and other locations (I'm in southern MD).

I've been working without a schematic because I couldn't find one in Riders or any other source I can access. I have found the 49-500 schematic, which has an identical tube line up and chassis layout. Can I count on this as a guide to use in trouble shooting this set?
