680X back cover?
#1

Does anyone know if the 680X late model from 1936 originally came with a back
cover over the speaker area of the cabinet?
Thanks in advance.

I have the early and late 680's and there is no indication of a back... 37 was the beginning of that practice except for a few earlier models with the "echo absorbing screen"... as far as I know, others please chime in!!

No mention of one in the 680X sales brochure either:

Thanks for responding, could not find anything indicating a back was
installed on the radio either.
