Leather Case Radio
#1

Hello
I have a 50's Transistor radio, that has a "Genuine Top Grain Leather Case". I was wondering if anyone could advise me has to how to clean or dye it ? What kind of cleaner or dye would I use? The case is in great shape except for over all fading, and also dirt on the handle area.
Thanks for any help
Bob

I would use saddle soap to clean, then shoe polish of a little lighter color to brighten it up. Try on the bottom, or some other hidden area first to see how this works.

That's a great idea. I will head to Farm and Fleet this weekend to get some saddle soap. The shoe polish is a good idea also.
I'll need to get that also, I don't need shoe polish for my sneakers!!!! Icon_razz
Thanks Bob
