MY first Philco 41-110
#1

I just got my first philco a 41-110. I still have to go pick it up. Its suppose to play ok. I have got schematic I am a electronic tech so repairs should be no biggy. I have found where i can get tubes. I suppose my question is, although i do not want to sale it, what is it worth? it has few very minor scratches and it plays.

It's a battery set which is a negative. I'd say $40 but that's just my 2 cents.

Hi,
Not being a wise guy or anything, but It's worth what you are willing to pay. Or it is worth to the seller what he is asking.
As I don't know what the set looks like, I can't give a feeling what I'd pay if it were at an auction. If it's complete, knobs, etc, no serious damage. A battery set would tend to be a deal breaker at least for me. Price guides are just that , a guide. Radios can vary 100% from the guide price depending on the location and how many others want the set.

Please post some photos of your set in any case, we'd like to see it.
Take care,
Gary.
