This is my first post on the Philco forum. I've been a radio collector since I was 10. This is one of the best radio forums on the internet!
I am looking for a photo of a model 43 that has the original grill cloth, or something very close. The 43 I purchased a few days ago has something that looks a little like part of a black air filter!

Hi and welcome,

Something like that. Nowdays there isn't a wide selection to chose from for replacement cloth.
When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

And it also depends on which 43 cabinet you have.
If it is the 43B cathedral, it originally used the same cloth as Philco 70 and 90 cathedrals.
