Scott Phantom and Phantom deluxe
#1

Good Afternoon All

I'm trying to sort out the differences between various Scott models. In particular I'd like to know the difference between a 1939 Scott Phantom and the Phantom deluxe of the same year. Can anyone advise?

Thankyou
Jonathan

Okay the deluxe came with am-fm and three short wave bands . Also had two tuning eyes one for am other for fm . braemar cabnet.
The other set had only one for am . Icon_biggrin

Thanks for that. So did the non deluxe have fewer shortwave bands as well, or did it just lack the FM band/ second magic eye?

Thanks Denver, that was a helpful reference. I'd tried the Radio Museum before, but it's a bit tricky finding one's way around it and I'd missed the Scott listings. The reason I'm trying to find out about these is because I've been offered what I think is a Phantom. All I've been told is that it's not the deluxe model. Anyhow, I'll definitely pursue this and let you know the outcome!
regards
Jonathan
