Philco model 90 Power Transformer
#1

Still working on the Philco Model 90. I had to get a new power transformer and the person that sold it to me cut it out and did not mark anything for me. Can anyone help me with some information on ohms or a wire layout on this particular transformer. I can't use the original one because they had the wrong transformer tacked in to the chassis. Any help would be appreciated.

It's usually pretty easy to figure out which winding is which, especially with a modern DMM, the lowest resistance winding is going to be the 2.5 volt one, followed by the 5 volt, then the primary, then the highest resistance winding is going to be the H.V winding. There may actually be two 2.5 volt windings, one for the power output tubes, and the other for the rest of the set, the one for the power output may have a center tap in it, or a large center tapped resistor across the winding, I'm not sure how Philco wired these off hand.
