41-608 Transformer
#1

Is there a place to get a replacement transformer for the Model 41-608 with BOL Record Player?

Also have an off-topic question.    Did all tabletop radios come with a back cover?  I have a Philco 37-84, and a Zenith that don't have one...but not sure if they originally did, but lost over time.....or if back covers weren't necessarily "standard" from model to model, manufacturer to manufacturer.

Many radios, both table top and console, never had back covers.

Welcome!
I happen to know a guy who is pretty keen on those '608 BOL jobs. Don't know if he has any spares but I'm sure he'll be posting soon.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

LOL! Yeah, I saw that eBay listing before. I paid less than that for the whole radio!

Are the transformers the same for Chassis 121 and Chassis 122? I know the pre-amp is 7C7 in the 121 and 7C6 in the 122 (with slightly different circuits), but am assuming the transformers are the same?

Yes - original part # is 32-8132.

Primary - 115-120 V
HV - 525 VCT @ 65 mA
Fil. #1 - 6.4V @ 3A
Fil. #2 - 6.4V @ 2A

Information from the 1941 Philco Parts Catalog
