I believe this to be a 650 chassis, which I'd like to confirm or correct if necessary. I've heard others call it a 36-650. Does the "36" refer to year of manufacture? Also, is the "8-35" on the transformer a date code? Thank you again, Greg

The year prefix (37-XXX, 38-XXX, etc.) wasn't used until the 1937 model year. So a 650 is only that (not a 37-650).
The 37-XXX models were also the first to have the much maligned separate RF chassis / 'unit construction'.
Well that's nice to hear Ron. Do you happen to know the difference between the 660 and the 665? I just want to be absolutely certain what I have when I take it in for servicing. Greg
I gave the 665 info a quick look and I did see that it has the correct alignment for the bcb. On the 660 there's a misprint and a note correcting the misprint.
