37-10 volume control
#1

I am working on a Philco model 37-10 that has a bad volume control, part number 33-5158. I am having trouble tracking a replacement down. Any help finding one will be appreciated. I had a link to a site that had an awesome selection of controls but I lost that link when I was saving it to my bookmarks.

If you don't find a replacement, good option is to contact Mark Oppat and he can probably fix it or will have something for you.

Welcome!
Mark O more than likely can build a pot for you. I just got a similar one for my 116B it was abt $25.

figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

Hi, Bob thanks for the welcome to the Phorum.

I will check Mark Oppat and see what he can do. The site I mentioned has an enormous selection of controls and models and includes a list of substitutes. I am doing this repair for my daughter. I am a retired electronics guy and it's been a while since I have done any work of this nature so I have been scrambling to find all of the equipment I need to do the job. Most parts have not been a problem.

I checked your restoration page, nice work.
