1941 Philco escutcheon Screws
#1

I've trying to find the small Bronze colored oval head screws that attach the plastic dial cover on the 41 philcos. I've tried to use other screws , but they just do not look right.
Any suggestions ?

Try Restoration Hardware...... http://restorationhardware.com/

Probably one near you. See their Store Locator.

Unless you live in a large metropolitan area, you may be out of luck on finding a Restoration Hardware store. I checked my area...closest Restoration Hardware stores to me are in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Nashville. They aren't even in Louisville! Icon_sad

The closest one to me is in near Orlando, about a 100 mile drive.
So far I found some HO model train track screws that don't look too bad.
Thanks for the info.

I have seen these screws at local hardware stores; I think I have even seen them at Lowe's. I bought some a while back to replace some screws on an early 1940s Philco escutcheon, but I don't remember where I bought them. Must be getting old. Hmpf. Icon_confused
