I'm currently restoring a Philco 38-7 floor console. I would like to create an extension cable for the speaker socket/plug to facilitate check-out and set-up.
Does anybody know where I can buy the necessary plug and socket? Thanks.

I’m thinking of doing this also for when I have the radio on the bench. I’m thinking you’ll have to look for the parts on Ebay or post a wanted ad for the plug and socket from a junked chassis.

I just take the speaker out and set it on the bench for check-out. It would take quite a few cables/plugs to cover even the common manufactures. You could do it. Some of the plugs are common but some are really hard to find AND some Philcos don't have a plug at all.
