Philco Model 51 Unknown part
#1

The Model 51 radio (photo attached) I have was taken apart over 40 years ago. In the box was a part (other attached photo). Can anyone tell me if it belongs to this radio and, if it does, where does it belong?

Thank you very much.
John

I have never seen that part in a 50 but maybe a 51 is a little different...

It is a clamp on with an adjustable screw hole. Maybe a clip on part like a dial lamp? Or a radioback?

:p

I don't think it belongs in the radio.

Thanks. Odd that it was in the bag with the other parts.

It looks kind of like one of those brackets that acts as a guide for  a plastic dial scale, but I don't know if a model 51 has one of those or not.

Thanks Arran. I’ll hold on to it in case someone figures out if it belongs to this radio and, if so, where it belongs.
