This thing is such a mess that I need as much info and parts layout I can get..Otherwise its going in garbage..
That would be a shame as the Case is really in great shape.. But getting frustrated

I have a unrestored PT-30 I can shoot a pict of wiring. I believe tube lineup is same.

Still changing wires.. found many more crumbled.. looks like a complete rewire job.. NOT FUN..
Keeping me busy on these Long Snowy Nights.. Supposed to get 3-6 inches more tonight..

Ok I have a question.. The Cap across the AC line Part 25 Says its a .04 Should that be replaced with a Y2 or X2 cap.. I have a X2 at .047.. I know I can probably due away with it also..

That's FBOM. It's just there to filter rf noise out before it get into the set. These days there's a lot of noise so not all that effective.

Ok, Finished up the wiring .. Not the greatest job.. But radio works Great..

When first powered on I had terrible motor boating across the band.. I forgot to Ground 2 of the tubes.. The 7B6 and 7B7.. After grounded set works with NO hum and no more motor boating.. On to alignment..
