RCA T64 tuning dial indicator problem
#1

Hello All, working on my RCA T64 and have a question. Before pulling the chassis, the dial indicator moved with the tuning knob. I pulled the chassis and cannot find anyway that the dial string attached to the indicator mechanism. I didn't  see or find any kind of a part but after reinstalling the chassis the indicator no longer moves with the tuning knob!
The attached photo shows two holes with green arrows where I think something might mount to or possibly the slot where the yellow arrow is? Anyone ever work on one of these? Thanks

Ron

You may want to have a look at this video series that Buzz1151 posted a few years back when he was restoring a T-64. I know he dealt with the dial string on one of the videos in the series. Just which one I don't know, but here's part one. You should be able to find the other parts by searching for "1939 RCA Victor Model T-64 Restore Part  " and just type in the next number (part 2, 3, etc.)

It is a bit of a different system.

Thank you Greg and Dan, that's exactly what I needed to see. I am glad to see I don't have any parts missing, was driving me nuts looking for something that was never there! Icon_crazy
