Philco K-1633 turntable, speakers in console restoration
#1

Hello, I recently acquired a K-1633 model console with working turntable and I’m trying to figure out my best options to restore it. The speakers work when using the ab cables but I cannot get the turntable to work with the speakers. Does anyone have insight on this model? History, year, etc? That may help me with my next steps. I am having trouble finding information on this specific Model online. Thanks!

Hi and welcome,
Did find a little bit abt your set. It's from 1962. A K-1632 is listed in one service manual in another it list several other model including the '1632. Have a look here  http://www.rsp-italy.it/Electronics/Radi...n/1962.pdf  Go to page 91.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Terry
