Philco Model T-500-124 Transistor Radio
#1

Greetings!

I am looking for schematic and parts information on a Philco Model T-500-124 transistor radio.

The serial number is SA 14858 and I am looking for a date of manufacture also.

Thanks, Icon_biggrin

The correct model number, I believe, is T500-124. Try a google seach maybe? The Philco T500 service info is in Sams Photofact #423-18. Don't know mfr. date, but I'd guess 60s-70s.

Actually it's one of Philco's first transistor sets, so it probably was made around 1956.

If you go to Syl's Old Radioz website, you should be able to download a couple of Beitman manuals that'll have the schematic. I'd download the 1955, 56 and 57 editions. Should be in there.
