41-608 phono question
#1

I just reinstalled my phono unit. It had been missing a tone arm, which I just replaced (finally). I do not have any instructions, and have no idea how to adjust it properly. There is no sound either. The light does turn on, i can hear the music at the needle end. The chassis was restored by Ron, and works fine. I have previously run my CD player off of the phono plug, so I know the Phono output is OK.
Any body have a copy of how to use the phono?
Thank you
MIke

Adjustments for the Beam-of-Light tonearm are on my site. See the main links down the left side of my website for the Beam-Of-Light Phono Pickup link.

Thank you for the information. I would however like an explanation of what the selector buttons do as well as any adjustments that may be needed. Right now I can't get the record off the turntable, as the lever arms are in a position to block it.......Stupid I know, also when it is on, the tonearm tracks out too far to drop down on the record, and it does not park itself over far enough when record is complete.......

The buttons on the changer are:

'10' for 10-in. 78rpm records

'12' for 12-in. 78s

'M' means Manual play

'R' mean Release or Reject (to the next record in the stack).

Motor On/Off is self explanitory.
