As an update to this I have an example that is marked 6B1000 AND 6BE6 with a brand marking that says Jewel, "made in the USA". They are also out of a Freq. Generator.

They do not respond to the test (2 diode) for a 6AL5

They test good as a 6BE6 osc. and about 50% on the 6BE6 amp (2 tests).
