Exact resistor values.
#1

One little problem that irritates me to no end is when a radio calls for a certain part value and it is not available from my sources i use. Take for example my 38-62 two resistor values it calls for is 51K and 70K that is fine but all i can find is 47K and 68K. Not so good being able to find and use the right value would be nice instead throwing something together that is exact value.

End of rant off my soap box now Icon_neutral .

51K is a standard value, you should have no trouble finding them. For the 70K, the best you can do is the 68K.

...and you can use a 47K to replace a 51K. 47K is less than 10% less than 51000 ohms. In ye olden days 20% tolerances were the norm...which meant anything from 40,800 to 61,200 ohms was considered "acceptable".

Anyone know a good site for resistors and capacitors besides aes and justradios?

Jake try Mouser.   https://www.mouser.com/Passive-Component...?P=1z0x74g

Also for capacitors, resistors and much more, don't forget Sal's Capacitor Corner.
