I am Looking to recap a 41-608. Is there anything special I should be aware of ? How hard is it to restore a beam of light ?

A couple of thing come to mind. Rubber wire thru out, if the off/on sw is part of the push button assby they are suspect, and open primary in the output transformer. Don't know abt the bol that's Kirk's thing.
