Howdy,

I’m a rank amateur to this radio hobby. Got my first one just yesterday. I am wondering about the model and vintage of the radio. It works well as does the clock.

It has the number F-228 as well as Part No. 78-3650. Any help is appreciated!

Best regards,

Bob

Hi and welcome,
Looks like it's from '58. Well on 2nd thought I'm think it's a bit newer. F would indicate a 1958 production but I can't find anything like it in '58.

So the mugshot matches a P724 from '66 (AA5 set) service info here: http://www.rsp-italy.it/Electronics/Radio Schematics/Collections/Beitman pg 96.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!
