Atwater Kent Speaker Question
#1

Is an Atwater Kent model 87-89 speaker a possible replacement for an Atwater Kent model 83-85-86 speaker?

I thought I'd try the easy way out with a question to the expert world while I try to find out the answer the hard way at the same time.

I have the 83-85-86 but it needs to be re-coned.  Any suggestions on re-coning or where to get it done would be nice too.

If you are in PA, the Sound Remedy in lower NJ is near you.
They are my to go shop for reconing.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Thanks for the recommendation of Sound Remedy.  I'll check with them for my AK speaker.  Its the first one I've gotten that was obliterated.  Just enough left to know the cone was black.  The rest of the radio and cabinet are pretty good.
