Philco 23X
#1

Well from the "farm fresh" category, I present one Philco 23X found on farm outside of Tracy, CA and had for $40.

Pros: All the parts seem to be there.
Though incredibly weathered and delaminated in areas there is almost no missing veneer.
Speakers in tact
Grillcloth in tact
Accoustic grill in back is all there

Cons:
Weathered and delaminated
Will need to reattach top and door.
Record player is going to need a ton of work

I never pictured myself owning one Philco radio-phonograph combination much less three!

Thank you to Ron Ramirez for his sage advice as I was debating whether to make the three hour drive for this player.

Great find! That will certainly be a lot of work to restore but well worth the effort I think.
