41-290 FM Reception and Antenna
#1

I have restored a 41-290.  Everything is working except I cannot pick up any FM stations.  I do get some static, but that is it.

I have attached a schematic.  I believe that the FM antenna connection is below the "2" in the upper right.  Can someone please confirm?  Also,  what can I check/adjust to try and get FM to tune in?

On a side note,  I installed an auxiliary input and played the FDR Infamy speech. Chilling.

TIA

41-290 does not have FM.

It has BC and two SW.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

That would explain it!

My dial face must have been replaced with a non-original at some point.  Attached is a pic of mine.
