Chassis protection for a 650
#1

I got stuck on this project it's waiting for more ambition. Can't seem to make the trim pieces for the front and corners.

I wanted some protection for the chassis.  The idea is to keep the cabinet as small as possible including the speaker.

On the face   The space on the left of the cardboard strips is for the speaker grille. I wanted to use the little speaker that is on top, But I couldn't bring myself to separate the original one.  I noticed that the output transformer has different taps for the speaker coil. I should be able to match the impedance close enough to run the small one. The big one can just go for the ride.

The strips are to be wood trim. The steel plate that holds the big speaker has a hole in it.

I found the display window on ebay.  Did I get the right one?  The shadow meter window was blocked so I used scotch tape for the meter display screen. That's why it's white in color.
I think some green tint might look good. Make it look like an eye tube.  And it's off center again.

It was tricky getting all those little arrows to line up with the dial.
