46-350 code 125
#1

Hi folks,

I've start to restore this radio and cant find a proper schematic.  All I can find for this radio is a code 121 schematic.  Any help is appreciated.
Looking at the chasses someone has wrapped a 20GA wire around C 21 at center and ran it to ground.  Any expiation is also helpful.
Thanks,
Rick

Read the service notes @ the bottom of the code 125.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

If you look at the schematic Terry showed us, C401 in the antenna circuit is connected to a coil. The coil is the wire wound around the cap. You'll see this in many Philco sets. I'm not sure if C401 is your C21.

i want to thank both Radioroslyn and RodB for the help they sent my way.
Terry the download was great, and Rod the explanation on was wire rapped around the capacitor was something that I had never seen before. I am glad I have a place to go to find the answers that's needed by me to try to fix these old radios.
Once again Thank
Rick
