Philco 8-Transistor portable

Hi all,

I may bid on this radio shown in the photo below. As far as I can tell it's a model NT-807-BK. I can't find a lot in information about this set. Anyone out there with some idea of dates of production, where they were sold etc?

It's a 1965 model (N = 1965 model year).

You can see a Christmas 1964 ad for this radio here:

The 1965 models would have been introduced in summer 1964.

that radio looks like a late 50s Sony that I am also thinking placing a bid on .
