Local Find: Philco 650MX

Found on local Craigslist. Taken apart and veneer removed by former owner. Will need a lot of work, but a set I have been looking for. Chassis original and filthy with dust, but underneath NO rust. Tube sheilds still shiny. Speaker discolored but solid. In spite of original ecaps present it PLAYS GREAT!!!

Congratulations on your acquisition! The 650MX is one of those "seldom seen" models. Too bad it came to you in "kit" form, but it appears that you have all of the pieces. I'm sure you will have no trouble putting it all back together.
