The grillecloth I need is a golden yellow, colored the color of the sun. Grillecloth dotcom no got. Any ideas who has it?

Can you tell me exactly which 89B you are referring to, please?

Hi Ron! It's the version 3, this one has the police band. The model tag says it's model 89 code 123.

If you mean this one:

it takes the 70/90 cloth in either whiskey or copper. This is the correct, original pattern.

Pattern #1 (whiskey) or pattern #2 (copper) from http://www.grillecloth.com .

I've seen these particular 89 sets both ways; some with whiskey colored 70/90 cloth, others with copper.

P.S. Nice to see you back here, Steve.

I have been bizzzzzEEE!! I've restored around 2 dozen various tube testers. When I'm done, they are restored and newly calibrated. But I ran into two testers that BEAT ME! I have lots of WONDERFUL I-177 military tester parts, no meters, though. Okay I'm a geek! What can I say? LOL
The colors you provided are a whole lot better than glaring butter yellow color I saw! YECHHH!

EDIT: Please check classifieds for my WTB.

If you have been working on a number of tube testers, perhaps you might be able to help Phorum member Mikhail7 find a good mutual conductance tester?

As for the knob you need, drop a PM or email to Phorum member ekimetsok - Mike Koste.

Can't help you on the shields, sorry.
