41-601 record changer
#1

Hey folks - newbie user here: I repair pro audio gear but ended up with a Philco 41-601 on the bench. The owner says the stylus arm has some balance issues and doesn't like to set down consistently on the record. I haven't tested it yet, just going on what she said. I like to gather as much information as I can before I approach an older unit, so any resources on this unit would be appreciated. I have the Rider documentation, but there's nothing in there about the record changer.

Thank you for your help.

Welcome to the Phorum. I'm not the guy to answer your questions as I rarely work on phonographs but surely someone here will have some advice. Here's the link we have in our library to the 41-601 although it is likely what you already have.

There are a couple of phono items in the 1941 RMS Year Book that might be of help

Hopefully someone with direct knowledge on your set will be able to help further.
