Currently restoring a Philco 42-380 console. Recapped, and changed out the three electrolytics. Resistors changed also.
Crackling static across the whole dial on broadcast, and Shortwave. Volume knob does work, but no stations at all are being pulled in.
Trouble shooting advice?

Two things for starters. Check to see that all of the heaters are lit. The second is measure the plate and screen grid voltage on all the tubes. Compare it against the voltages listed on the schematic. Should be within about 20% or so.
Next step you'll need a signal generator. Then we can see which stages are passing a rf signal.
