Azden power cord
#1

I have one of these old Azden 3000 2 meter rigs without a power cable. Looks like a two prong deal with one prong bigger than the other.

Anyone know what this is called or where to locate one? I can certainly rig up a cable but it would be nice to have the right plug .
#2

Can you post a picture of the set were the cord plugs in?
#3

It sounds like an earlier version of a polarized power cord, have you looked at Mouser or Allied for replacements?
#4

Here’s a pic. If I can find out the kind of plug I can rig up a fused cord. Paying $29 on eBay seems sort of a non-starter

Reminds me of the Sony/Panasonic portable radio boombox power cords. About $8 on e-bay. Hope that helps. Joe

That looks like a cord from a old coffee pot, have a look in the thrift stores.

+1 what Arran said. I found one like that for our percolator at Ace hardware!
